Achieving Compliance and Accessibility

WebCheck uses evaluation tools to determine whether your site meets legal accessibility guidelines. Automated tests check a variety of technical aspects of website accessibility, ensuring that your site meets 65 technical criteria, from Priority 1 to Priority 3 requirements of the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

Although this automated process checks for legal requirements, in order to truly judge the experience of a website, it is necessary to interact directly with users, taking into account any disabilities or impairments and their choice of technology for interacting with your website.

This face-to-face interaction is an integral part of WebCheck's service. We have access to panels of web users who have a variety of disabilities/special needs. We can also recruit groups of specialist users (male, female, ethnic groups, older people etc.) who may respond differently to web stimuli. Sub-group reporting can result in changes to your website which will enhance the experience for all potential visitors.
